The iDAQ-BT app turns your iPad into a chart recorder. This app lets you stream data over Bluetooth from an RFduino, and plot it on your iPad in real time. iDAQ-BT provides an easy way to monitor equipment or scientific experiments with a low-cost tool. With this app, any analog signal you can put into the RFduino microcontroller will be instantly displayed on your iPad. The scrolling plot shows the last 510 data points, and and lets you easily glance at your data trends.

You can pinch to zoom for easier viewing of small signals, and you can save your plot by taking a screenshot: just press the home and power buttons simultaneously, and the screenshot will be saved to your photostream.

Note: this app requires a Bluetooth-LE capable iPad, and an RFduino microcontroller from RFduino.com in order to function. This app has been tested to work with the 4th generation iPad, and iPad Air.
Visit tactitionprogramming.com/idaq.html for instructions on how to setup your RFduino for use with this app. Some familiarity with the Arduino programming environment is helpful, but not required.
If you are looking for an easier solution with increased options please also consider purchasing an iDAQ from Tactition Programming. It is compatible with the free “DAQ app”, arrives ready to use, and has additional features like dual channels, exportable data, and adjustable alarms.
